Need ID

I've had this fish for about 4 years. I bought 48 feeder guppies one day and I guess he got mixed in or something because a few months later he didn't look like a guppy at all.

I've never seen another fish exactly like this one at the pet store so I've been unable to identify it.

Any luck?

Fins look like a archocentrus mutilspinosis (rainbow cichlid), but the head doesn't have the right shape.

That's why I'm confused. I've looked at thousands of cichlids pics on google and I haven't seen a single one that looks exactly like mine.

it almost appears to have istlanum in there but i agree with tgr

he rainbow cichlid guess. was this fish stunted in a tiny tank?

Rainbow cichlid was the first thing that came to my mind. I wonder if it could be some sort of hybrid.

Looks like a very chunky male rainbow (Archocentrus multispinosus) to me.
