need ideas. 180 stocking

Im slowely getting a 180 gallon set up. 6x2x2. fx6 canister. i have 2 55 gallon tanks growing out fish for it. stocking so far is
1- 7" rotkeil
1- 4'' salvini (female)
2- 3" clown loaches
3- silver dollars
1- 5'' royal pleco
i was thinking maybe 1 or 2 more severums, or maybe a couple urau's or chocolates. im also down with none cichlid species as well. trying to keep it a peaceful tank. tank will have lots of drift wood and large rocks.
 
How is the salvini behavior? I would say that species doesn't fit in well with your peaceful goal, but you may have a particularly calm one which would be fine.
A couple more sev's or chocolate would be fine with this mix. Uaru would probably do well also. Festivums would be a cool addition. Most South American cichlids which stay 6" and under would work with this setup.

A lone fahaka puffer is on my bucket list. Just about squeeze one in a 180g:-)
Pirahna is another option, Caribe shoal or big black rhom.

Sell em all and get a fahaka anyway;-)

the salvini is chill. i bought 6 at 1'' and ended up keeping the runt only because the others were killing machines.
 
fahaka puffers are super cool, but im trying to do a "peaceful" community tank.
 
tanks been cycling for 2 weeks now. i pt some seeded media into the filter to help speed things along. i dropped 6 silver dollars in the other day, its came along smoothly enough. still haven't picked up any uaru.

i would add a shoal of bottom feeders like four line pims or ornatus. or maybe a quartet of hoplo cats and a jag cat or two. if not that a small shoal of geophagus would be cool.

definitely a few pairs of dwarf cichlids/acaras and a chalceus is a must for me.

nice scape on your tank btw.

I am making my 150 a planted community tank
Going to have tons of Tetras, barbs, and other similar fish
