Need ideas for a 30 Gallon tank.

I am setting up a 30 gallon tank and want to have one (MAYBE two) fish in it.
I want this fish to be semi-large...but only large enough that when I get it as a baby it can live a while in a 30 gal.

Also, no Oscars or JDs

And for it to either look "monsterous" or attractive is a plus too

Sorry don't want to steal your thread but I also have the same size tank looking for info on those exedons how many should I get for a 33 gal and how big will they get?

they could get up to 6 inches possible. 4" more likely. And u could do 7
