My cousin who is currently moving into a new house and has a 90 gallon tank gathering dust in his garage. He offered to give me the tank, how could i resist. Need some ideas on some fish that would be cool in this tank. Im more into the "ripping feeders to shreds" type of fish. Not really fond of oscars or gulper catfish though. I also like fish with big, intimidating teeth. I was thinking along the lines of a false gar. Any other suggestions? also, i didnt know what category to put this under, so i figured ancient fish would be the most suitable.

bichirs for ancient fishes.. too small for an armatus if you're into fish with big teeth and like to shred the feeders. maybe some piranhas will also do.

cool, thanks. Sucks that there arent too many small fish with big teeth. If i had the floor to support a tank big enough i would definitely have a bigger tank, but 90 gallons is pushing the limit as it is. Anythig bigger would break my floor and end up in the crawl space under my house.

i like the idea of bicher/sengal eels mabe an african brown knife or ghost knife keep it a peaceful tank no aggressive fish unless u wanna go with redbellys

I am guessing your tank dimension are around: 3 ft x 2 ft x 2ft

I wonder if you can house a Jardini in this tank?

(Check out some bad-ass cichlids: Jack Dempsey perhaps?)
