Ok guys i have a 48x24x28 140 gallon tank. I would like a central/south american community tank. I know these fish can b very aggresive. At best (with luck) which ones will fair the best together. Will stock all at once and small sizes. I like green terror,JD,oscars, chocalates, severums, veija, jags, and so on. All ideas are welcome

How about a jag, green terror, and a JD. Depending on the fish temperments, this could work long term!

A 4ft tank does not give much space for a territorial fish like a jag, I would be afraid for its tankmates. A 6ft would be a better choice for the jag. But since we are working with the 4ft, a vieja synspilum, one of the more peaceful of that type would be nice.

If you do a synspillum, I would suggest going with some severum and maybe a pearsei. I also suggest if you go with my original idea you buy a couple of jags and then pick only the female and sell the rest. A female jag would be fine in that tank. You have room for dithers with those 3, but I suggest silver dollars because they get large enough and are fast enough to escape danger.

I like the veija synspillum the only problem is I would have to order online somewhere my local stores do not have them and say they cant get them.
