I need your ideas/help guys..i am planning on converting a 75 gallon tank into a barebottom breeding tank.
Do you have any methods in mind that will make the removal of sand from the tank easier?i am thinking of using a big hose and siphon out the sand.what do you think?

That is exactly what I do to remove either sand or gravel from the bottom of the tank.

If you are leaving your fish in the tank during this process, I would do it during your water changes until all the sand is gone.
