need identity help

Nope it is a hap

almost looks like a compressic....whatever you call them. But it is a hap.

Personally I would take this ID to an actual cichlid forum for help - it is definitely a specialty cichlid that you don't commonly run across.

Haplochromines, or haps for short, is a group of cichlids in Lake Malawi that inhabit mostly open water and the areas leading up to the rocky shores. They don't hold down territory until males setup for spawning.

what is it's size in inches? Definitely a Hap of some sort, I've got a good idea, just want to know what size it is before I guess.
