So I came home from work and I found my juruense on its back breathing heavy. I flipped him over and he flipped himself on his back again. He is extremely pale and breathing heavy.

He is in a 65 gallon with 2 Broko and an indo pacific tarpon and they have been fine for over a month in there. Tank has a fx4 and a emperor 400 filter

I put a significant amount of prime in and I am doing a water change as we speak. Last water change was 4 days ago. I will get parameters in a moment

What shoold I do?

well, couldnt find anything about it online and i guess everyone on here was asleep so i didnt know what to do. He died, found him dead at 3:15, found him sick around 9 15, saw him alive last at around 10 45. RIP

How long have you had. Also what was the main diet? They should not eat shellfish from what I've read and from my own experience when they are juvenile. They also need fast moving current. No new fish added to the system recently?

Had him almost 2 months. No new fish have been added in over a month. Fast moving current due to the fluval, really moves the water around in that tank.

First I heard about no shellfish when they are juvenile. His main diet from the beginning was shrimp lol... I wouldnt have expected that to kill him though.

Shrimp and shellfish diets can cause thiaminase deficieny. Which can result in something like this.
