Ok, so i put my 5" freddy in my 135 with my 3.5" Jag today, there are also 50 zebra Danios left over from cycle/ and to act as dither/targets to help with the parachromis living together. Well my freddy has not stopped harrassing the Jag for hours now. I feel bad for him, I assumed they would stare each other down, maybe lip lock and be done with it, but my poor little jag has jsut been chased and I can tell he is very tired. What can i do? I tried feeding to get their minds off of each other, there are many plants/wood caves/sanddips for both to have plenty of territory, but the freddy just will not stop, can someone help me out? I feel bad for the little jag and am afraid this dream setup may not last. TIA

I guess i could put him back in a 30 breeder, how long should i give it to work? What is the buffer time for two fish to "feel each other out" any more ideas?

i had a jag and jd that did this the first time i introduced the jd. they fought for about a day or so straight then were still kind of leery towards each other but after about two days maybe three i guess you could say they warmed up to each other once they picked out their territories..

thats good to hear, hopefully that happens with me, my lil Jag looks so tired, lol he is gonna sleep hard tonight

it depends on how much you think the little jag can handle. if he's all torn up i'd take him out, but if he's just getting chased, leave it a day or 2 and see what you reckon then

Yeah, I had to make a quarantine shelter within the tank for the jag, he is missing a lot of scales and isnt doing too well. What can I treat him with? Im willing to buy any treatment I can, he is pretty beat up and I just need toget him better, I hope he makes it through the day.
