Need info on figure 8 puffer

My LFS selling tiny ones for $1.99 each. Not sure if that's a bargain since I never own one. Are they aggressive? How big do they get? Do they eat only live food? Can i put them in a ciclid tank? THANKS

Great fish. Setup a species tank for them and you won't be sorry. Very fun fish to watch.

Yea just set up a decent species tank and it will be a bit risky to find decent tank mates the only way to find out if the tank mates will work is the temperament of ur puffers FYI.
