hi i have a bunch of tanks going ( 3x 55 gal and a 180 ). i have sand in 2 55 gal and in my 180 and i need to kno if my baby RTC (x2) can live happily with a silver gar ? and eels ( common northern eel ) may be fire eel . i have 4 oscar's also they are fine with tank mates they even let feeders live ( 1 goldfish that has grown to oscar size ) i will have plenty of tank space for when they are older. i just dont want them to eat each other .

Just curious, do you have any more tanks than what you have listed? Since i have a feeling you will probably need to separate all those fish into more than 3 tanks once they get older...

Also, what size are each of the fish you are talking about right now?

I have a feeling your RTC, if kept with the rest of the fish long enough will help solve part of your stocking problem, since they grow pretty darn fast and will eat anything that fits in their mouth...

I agree with homer. I am not sure if u know about the potential sizes those fish get. Could u post info on the tanks that aren't running?

BTW, what do u mean my silver gar? I think u mean a characin? If so, that 55 gal might be alright
