Need info on this 50 dollar dat !

Why unstable??? He is beautiful ! Just talk nice to him with low tones and reenforcing words of love.
 
Hey i just got two new juvenile dats(about two inches) and im havin trouble gettin them to eat. any sugestions?.... also i know there shy but they havent swam at all in the tank. they just hide at the bottom on the sand... whats up with that?

unstable meaning his color kinda changed , (the yellow part became semi brown.) it was all yellow when i first put him in, hes a lil shy and still uncomfortable with the surroundings, specially the big endli next to him lol.
i figured , this made him look unstable ;)

You should try assorted frozen foods such as krill, blood worms, market shrimp, and etc. How long have you had the datnoids?

Might take a few days for them to eat. Just give it time.
May be weeks or months before they start displaying and swimming around....
