Need info on yepezi stingray. W/ Pics!!!

I recently bought a young yepezi from aquascape (I wasn't aware I was getting a yepezi. It was labeled as a "common ray", Pedro recommended it.)

I need to know some general info on how big they get and how fast they grow. If anyone has some pics of adults, I'd like to see. It has good markings now, but will they fade over time?

This pic is it with my motoro. They are both about 5-6" disk.

that is the "false" yepenzi, its a common brown ray out of peru, Size would be about the same as a motoro maybe smaller... expect about a 24" disk. They should look just like it is now.... hard to say... most often they are beginner rays so there isnt really large ones in captivitiy (the largest ones i have seen on the forum was 15") but once again, thats just what i have seen.
Also your "motoro" isnt an actual motoro, its another brown ray from peru, rays id's over there are pretty messed up

lol well that's a let down. I think they are cool regardless... I got a deal on the "motoro" the guy at the lfs thought it was a hystrix and sold it to me for $100.

thats what he probably ordered.... thier import lists are horrible from peru, wholesalers sell random rays as hystrix for attemps to get more money for them because hystrix are technicly banned from importation from brazil

Well actually, they had a hystrix there too. I wanted the motoro though. They had them both labeled right, the guy who helped me just didn't know his rays so he got them confused.

The Yepezi ray you have is very, very active (more than motoro), never rests and it is very interesting to watch him.
