i need info on hypselecara temporalis. size, water conditions, feeding, breeding, etc. i think i will be recieving a 2" pair for free from a friend. lets hope so!!!

Typical cichlid IMO. Think Oscar but a bit smaller...about 12" max size. They're hungry and messy eaters that need good filtration and clean water kept from 76-82 degrees F. They will adjust to your ph so don't worry about that. Chocolates require at least 55 gallons minimum tank size but 75 would be better for a pair. Feed them a good quality high protein pellet as a staple and treat them to some other goodies. Not too sure about breeding but good luck.

chocolates hit 12"ish easy, normal temps and matenince requiremnts as simalar sized Ca/Sa's. i'd say 75 min for 1-2.
