NEED INFOR FOR BAGARIUS SPECIES!

Well like the title says I'm looking for some information on Bagarius sp. I've recently seen one at a LFS, it is the first bagarius that i have ever seen around here, it is about 4 inches and priced at $44.99 and was being sold as Giant Painted Indian catfish ( is it a reasonable price? ) it looked just like the one in the picture but lighter in tone of color. Thanks for any information and help.

thats about average price seen them up to 60 so yeah go for it,you can always try to talk them down.worth a try

What sp of Bagarius have you picked up? As for growth rate, depends on a few factors, including sp, water temp, feeding schedule, etc. Plenty of threads on here about Bagarius, try the search button.
