I have just assumed care for a 750 gallon tank, I have never come across a pool filter on a aquarium till now.
Aquatronics 240 35 psi pressure rated filters Aquatronics closed in 2004? --this aquarium was installed in 1999.

My pool guy connection said that being the period that it may have a "paper filter"......Either way neither of them have been cleaned in years.
1) Releave the preassure
2) "Crack" the center lock ring
3) Lift straight up
4) Rinse clean
This sounds about right; However any additional info is welcome.
