So my heater must not be working! My tank is down to 72. It was 80. My tanks is 2 gulpers. Think they should make it till morning?! I am going with an Eheim Jager Automatic Aquarium Heater. They are decent I have read. This is the 3rd heater that died on me.

72 is about room temp so if they are acting ok at that temp and it's not going any lower they should be fine. heaters are a pain in the a##. I usually go with the titanium style heaters. For one they don't break, and two you can put a cage around them or something to keep the fish off them. Glass heaters from pet stores are just crap and way too expensive for something that may only last a few months. They may get a lil lathergic, but I don't think you have much to worry about just get the new heater in. :)

Thanks for the input i got a eheim jäger 300W. The one was acting very sickly but both are swimming happy now it's up to 78F. It got down to 68 at one point :(

Glad to hear they are doing better. Monitor them closely as they readjust once again. Maybe even hold off on feeding for a day or two until they have adjusted again. I know first hand that wild temperature swings can kill, or even cause sickness. I woke up one morning to my heater off in my garage, and it was -30 degrees here in montana. One of my ponds was froze solid in the garage and fish were all dead. The tank with my big hybrid and a heater was at 45 degrees at the bottom where the heater was and had ice on top. Luckily the big hybrid was fine though.
