i have a few questions that you all may be able to help me better serve potential customers

question 1 what is the best shipping agency for fish i have checked next day mail and ups and they are high. what about air freight where people pick up at airports. is that a good option.

question 2 is 2-3 day delivery a good option considering the fish will be in a box for up to 72 hours.

can you all give me some pointers so i can send quality fish all over the u.s. and have them arrive as alive as i sent them. thanks for the advice

I've only bought fish from the net once and it was airport to airport. It was a pleasant experience.

i ship only overnight

i have never shipped fish but, have recieved them, and next day air or overnight service works out nicely. one thing i noticed that companies seem to do is have a tinted bag or wrapped in newspaper probably to keep bright light out when you open the box. i have not had a bad experience yet. by the way roy i recieved your list, you will probably be hearing from me shortly. Thanks!

you need to have a registed account(not easy to get, a long process) with an air carrier if you want to ship airport to airport-the best bet is to use UPS or FEDEX nextday

Triple bag your fish. Two bags facing same direction, with those two put into the third bag upside down. This prevents 'corners' that the fish can get stuck in and pop the bag with its spines. Bag buddies are also a very good idea since they remove ammonia and supply oxygen. Pure oxygen is another MUST. Talk to a couple of the other dealers, PM them, I'm sure they can give you many pointers on live fish delivery. Have you gotten the fish yet? How many arrived alive? Quarantine goin aight?
