I have a green terror and convict tank 55 gal. (2) aqua clear 70 filters on it and evry morning when I feed it make the room smell like ass. right now Im feedin hakiri gold cichlid pellet. the tank is well cycled been set up over a year. I think it might be the food thats the cause any recomendation on at better food option?

I am not sure what ass smells like lol Did you mean gas is your subtrate sand. You could try New Life Spectrum . I feed this to all my fish with treats like frozen bloodworms,krill,earthworms, and crickets.

1---------A fish has jumped out and is rotting on the floor....Do you feed your fish feeders????????Is so, a feeder probably jumped out and is laying dead rooten in some nook and cranny around the tank stand.......Trust me, this problem has happened to me more than once...........
2---------You have too clean your gravel more often.........Bits get caught on there and create ammonia bubbles....

Is this bag of food new? some people find fish food offensive smelling...if you leave it open for a weekish the smell will go away.
