Very peaceful, and highly active once it becomes comfortable. Slow grower in my experience. Loves pretty much all veggies. Especially zuccini. Also loves meaty foods, like shrimp and bloodworms. Driftwood is more of a hiding place than a food source. Although if there is any algea present it will graze on it. There are actually 2 seperate species labeled as l200:
Hemiancitstrus subviridis and baryancistrus demantoides.
Pretty much the same fish except for slight differences in finnage and the hemi gets about 2" bigger at around 7.5". They get along with pretty much all pleco's in my experience, and will live a happy life in a peaceful community setting. I have kept plent of both species and these are by far one of my favorite pleco species. Good luck with yours! HTH.
