Need Mass Quantities of glass/ ghost shimp for young rays.

Until I get these guys weaned I would like to fink a link on glass/ghost shrimp to raise and feed off as needed to keep my rays fat. I live in Nashville TN and need folks that will ship. I canget them from my lFS but they are breaking me at 25per shrimp. These are stingrays!!!!! I need these shrimp on tap! LOL Please if anyone knows or has some feel free to drop a message or throw a line. I am trying other foods but these glass shrimp seem to be all they get crazy over. HELP Thax

Have you tried live blackworms on them? Thats what i usually feed pups till they are ready to eat whole nightcrawlers. Might be more economical for you.

Only place I know to get ghost shrimp is http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=2190+3064&pcatid=3064 but there prices are 40 cents a shrimp.

You need to teach them to eat pellets and frozen food, black worms are too small and you need to get on to cheaper and more bulky foods.

Nice to know of another ray keeper just an hour away. What kind of rays and what size? The best way to get wild rays off of ghost shrimp is to started killing the shrimp and let the rays eat them dead. Then cut some frozen shrimp up real small and mix with the dead ghost shrimp then feed. The rays will start to eat the frozen shrimp while they eat the ghost shrimp. In my experience ghost shrimp work the best at getting wild rays to start eating and I have weened them onto frozen shrimp as fast as two days.
