Need memory card to hook up to PC?

Well my sister just got a new digital camcorder and I figured it would be the perfect thing for making some sweet feeding videos but we havent bought a memory card yet. Is it possible to get video recorded on casette to the computer somehow? Probably not the best place to ask question bout a camcorded but lotsa people here make movies.

there are kits you can buy to load them into your computer, but it would be a lot cheaper to just get a memory card

If you're going to use it a lot (I don't know because you said it's your sister's cam) I'd spend the money on a Pinnacle Studio kit, I have never regreted buying mine, You get a PCI video capture card with IEEE 1394 ports, a breakout box with both RCA and S-video in/out and of course Pinnacle studio software. I think it was about $299 when I bought mine a few years ago, it's probably cheaper now.
