Alright i need ur guys help! Probly wrong place to ask but....

I just came from my LFS.(were i was backd into:irked: but thats another story) and they had 2 small florida gar(wrongly ID'd as gator gar). Now this store sometimes gets gar in about 10 to 12 inches. One time i saw one about 2 inches. That gar became my show piece florida gar, my buddy, and the reason for my addiction. But with that gar was so small that i had to give him(name is Gary) small guppys. they had to be young due to his small size. that was a pain so was makin sure he had plenty of feeders, right size feeders, etc.

Now i went and they had 2 small gar that were only 3"!!!! i never see them this small!!! any they are cheap enough($20) for thier size. I want these(heck my wife is telling me to get them) but i remember the pain it was to raise Gary at that size.:nilly:

Should I do it!?!?!?! i think i should pass but i cant decide! PLZ try and talk me out of it!! lol

UR NOT HELPING! lol

I refuse to talk you out of it! :)

Go for it... ever thought of setting up a stock pond with a bunch of anacharis and feeder guppies and just letting the guppies go wild? It would be a great source for those little feeders you need! But I would NEVER suggest you get another tank! ;)

I'd do it if I had a tank for them. I saw 3 2-3" Floridas (also wrongly ID'd as gators) for $15 at the LFS today. If I had room for a gar or 3, I would have gotten one (or more)

Just do it! You know you want to. We know you want to. Feeeeeed the addiction :D.

Besides, you still have a ways to go to catch up to me...

lol. true. i might. i knew u guys would be no help!!

20 bucks for florida gar seems high at 3" We can get them around here for $30 at 12" almost year round.

true. but the point is the fact that they r only a meer 3". they are never available at that size around me!! only available at 12"!! the reason these interested me so much is because of there tiny size
