I have a Eheim 2028, on a 120 wide with 2 giant gourami about 6", a 4" indo dat, giraffe cat and pleco.. is this enough ?? ( I think I already know the answer to this question....never enough!!!!)
I ahve a lot of particles floating in the water, I was thinking of buying a hang on filter to try to polish up the water. I dont want to do a diatom because all of my research tells me its a PITA...
was thinking maybe an emperor 400 or an aquaclear....

BTW water parameters are perfect, and I do 30%changes weekly, and 50% monthly
any input would be appreciated.

i say ac110 i'm not sure on you canster thought but yeah go with 2 ac110 and fill them with the sponges.

You answered your own question. "never enough"
To "polish" the water more, an AC500 (or two:D) would do the job packed with the normal sponge for the big stuff, and floss on top of that for the finer particulates.
My two 500's currently have the sponge first, followed by 2 layers of cheap quilt batting, and a couple chunks of lava rock in each to hold the batting down. Works very well for me.

Did you use cotton or polyester batting? Does it matter?
