M meriadoc Guest Feb 24, 2005 #4 sold one rebel, waiting for money for my second, selling my film bodies.. and MAY get a 20D. or i could go back to film for a while and pick me up a 400 5.6L instead i'm at a serious crossroads as to what to do right now... edit... wait a second. canon's 500 4.5L sells for around $5000 and the 600 5.6L sells for around $9000-$10,000 and B+H have the: Nikon 600mm f4 for $9000 and the 500mm for $7200... so those lenses are either hot, or they're in REALLY bad shape. any pro lenses if in GOOD/EXCELLENT condition can sell for around 90% of their retail value. Lenses hold value really well.
