We could also use more responsible fish keepers. I'm not saying we are not responsible, but there are people who aren't and thats why Florida is so messed up.
Ya like Delawhore is a prize. Im sure just as many rejects there as here. It would just be nice to help the fish instead of them being killed or let go. In a state where 90% of fish in the hobby can live and thrive and destroy habitat it would be a nice thing to offer.
fish adoption is a graet idea,
my bigest black more was adopted because a guy braught it in to petco in a zip lock full of green water and no air. he was telling us that if we didn't take it he would dump it on the side walk. so i took it. he is in amazing helth despite the abuse. after i said i would take it, i asked the guy what he fed it and he said nothing, he just simple never changed the water, for a year, in an ****** 10 gallon! this guy was braging about it!!!!
Nice to hear you saved them. Some people are so irresponsible. Someone left 4 JDs in a plastic bagon our desk because they did not want to take care of them. They all had fin rot, one had HITH, and they were most likely in a 10 gallon. Poor fish. As for Delaware, we are just messed up because DuPont owns us. I meant to say irresponsible fish keepers have ruined Florida's habitats, which really stinks for native fish. I wasn't trashing Florida at all.
