Need name of a fish...

Hi,

I was just at a fish shop recently and saw this fish I'm interested in buying.

But I want to do research on it first but cant as I dont know the name of it.

I'm pushing my luck by asking this but can anybody help?

It looks just like a big Bala shark/Silver shark.
Except it's tail and fins are orange, not black.
And it's mouth looks more like a tandanus's, oval shaped.

I know I can just go back to the fish shop and find out, but it is quite a drive and I don't have time to until next week.

maybe a tinfoil barb, not sure?

im thinking its a tinfoil barb. look it up on google and see if a tinfiol barb matches the fish you saw.

They look so nice in that picture, I doubt I'd be able to get one in so nice in Australia.

Can anybody tell me how fast they grow?
Say get them at 10cm, how fast till they be 30cm in the right conditions?

As slow as Balashark, or as quick as a Saratoga, Barra, etc?
