Need new tank and got some questions.

As some of you may know.... or dont, i have a very fast growing silver arowana and hes still in my 55 gal with a Largemouth bass some barbs and a pleco. Hes at about 7 inches now, when should i move him into a new tank? and how big of a tank? Should i decorate the tank or not? And should he have some tank mates or be alone?

if u have a standard 55, id say you need to move him by 13" long. minimum tank size for life is around 250g and id put tankmates with him. whether you decorate it or not is up to you but i think fish prefer decorations.

Should i just take all his buddies from the 55 and put them in the new tank with him.

yea sure if u want to unless u want new friends for him but hes already use to those guys in the tank but wen they get to the new big tank then noone owns that tank yet everybody is getting use to it so yea....

unless those are tinfoil barbs theyll be snacks, dont know much about largemouth bass tho. itd be fine to get him new tankmates, whether you get all new mates or move the fish you have now and get more since you should have plenty of room.
