Im lookin to purchase a 75 -100 gallon tank here soon, im new to fish keepin but im interested in mixing species native to where im from (southeast GA)with some exotic ( ex. largemouth bass and peacocks, yellow bullheads and other exotic cats) im mostly intersted in predatory and somewhat aggressive fish and i love catfish...basically what im asking is where to begin? would a 75 gal. tank be big enoughfor what im wanting to do? how many fish can i put in there? ANY info would be greatly appreciated and also fish recommendations, thanks!

No,a 75 or a 100 are too small for LMB(in the long run) or Cichla.Either get a larger tank(in the 200's) or do Sunfish or others.
Try to get atleast a 6ft long tank like a 125 gal. you can at least get some small fish and grow them for a while. Channel cat Oscars, Jack Dempseys, Florida gar. Thats what I would do. I think you might enjoy that
