OK I was getting some feeders for my puffer, and saw this little brown knife, and he was just hovering at the top of the tank. He looked sooo sad. He was arched a bit, head hanging down and only the first half of his fins seemed to be moving. I already have a BGK, but am debating on getting him. I have the BGK in the 75 growing and I thought about adding this guy to my 150 with my parrots and fronts, and fattening him up. He is only about 3 inches. What do ya'll think?

If you can save the ABK, go for it! I love my ABK. Next to my angels, it's the most entertaining fish I own!

NO NO NO - do not put in with your other HEALTHY fish. If you want to rescue - then set up it's own hospital tank, nurse it back to health then intro to your family!! don't you think there is a reason for its current state of health in an LFS of all places?! Your heart is in the right place but make sure your head thinks clearly.

You're very right. I do have a hospital tank that he can go it, and that is definately what I would do. Honestly he just looks neglected, but I will take caution and quarantine him :) Thank you

Can you get a pic of it? I don't think its sick, just sounds like it hasn't been taken care of.

I will need to go to the store to get his mug shot and post later after work.
