What overflow should I buy for my 300g I need something reliable that won't flood my livingroom or lose siphon I know I need a 1200gph and have my wet dry set up for 2 hoses. Any help would be great

Do a Standpipe. It's a lot cheaper and you can make them inside or outside your tank. They won't lose siphone, and only drain at the rate your pump returns. Check out Rallysman's personal gallery for one kind. Mine will be posted tonite, and here's a site for the materials:

You don't have to do this exact refugium type. You could actually run it up over the back wall of the tank, too, and have it drain into your sump

heres a pic of mine not as complex as others but simple is somtimes better yes the whole thing is homemade filter and all pic was taken before media was added this set up moves 1100 gallons an hour but would handle more thats just the size of pump that runs it
