If anyone has a dead crocodilian in the freezer could you do a quick necropsy for me and post a picture of the cartilaginous cup in the eye. It is a structure that I believe is homologous to the scleral ossicles of most other reptiles and birds and I'm very interested in seeing one. If you're within 4 hours by car of Rhode Island I'll be willing to drive to you if you are willing to give me the carcass whole. I can perform the necropsy myself if you are uncomfortable.
