What's up guys and gals. Finally getting a place of my own and I'll be hopping back into keeping fish as I miss having them so much. Anywho the plan is going to be a 75G Geophagus tank. Of course me being a pleco guy I need to have at least one. I am looking for something that won't out grow that tank but still gets a decent size that you can actually see it. So clowns and smaller Plecos are out of the question. Filtration will be two or three Aquaclear 110 HOBs depending how cheap I find them for and how much money I've got on all these Amazon gift cards. I want a pretty looking pleco. So what would everyone recommend? Price won't be an issue as long as it's not hitting zebra pleco prices lol

I do have a problem getting my 114 his own carnivor pelletswith my geos. All they want to do is eat everything.
I tried but any earth eater is a bad combo with plecos they eat everything or just mess with all the food for the hell of it.

Mine has a nice wood cave that I am able to drop food right in to, so it helps. I also have a L200, a Rubbernose, and an L201 in the same tank with 6 geos. I find adding large pieces of veggies into the tank allows the plecos to get their fair share of food, but it does take a little extra work to get my meat eaters(201, 114, and oligosarcus) their meats. I also drop meaty pellets in after lights out, and my Oligosarcus has taken to only eating at dusk and dawn... lol

are you buying filter from amazon? My suggestion is don't. go to petsolutions.com, drsfostersmith.com or kensfish.com to buy.
for pleco suggestion, other that what exodus1500 has listed, I would say most leporacanthicus(which l264 that exodus1500 listed is one) like L007, L029, L091, L240 should work as well. L114 and L273 could stay in a 75G for a few years but they can get over 10'' especially male. Gold nugget pleco, snowball pleco and some in the bristlenose genus like L255 medusa, L071/181 pepermint, L110/157, L182 starlight pleco would work also if you like a more active fish than the rather shy meat eater when they are small.
