yeah .. deciding i might scrap the old pvc that came with my 225, as he had no screw pvc at all he had to cut it to move it and if i set it up again itd be last possible time it cud be set up so im thinking of just going for new pvc and lil different set-up except I know a negative percent about pvc or how to set this up so alot of help would be appriciated.
so the tank is drilled in the bottom (two holes in each back corner behind black corner overflows) I'm not sure what size the holes are. 1" or 3/4" maybe? not positive.
His current set-up was I believe (not positive on sizes) ..
2x 1" pvc drains (with the two elbows on top creating a 180 turn)
then into the bulkhead (which im not sure what size)
then into a 5 or 6" piece of pvc (which he cut)
then into a pretty big valve (with the dual screwable thing on either side)
on the other end of the valve he has a connection to run it into hose .. and his hose just ran into his sump which went through his floor into his basement where the sump was.
then he had the return pump running into a hose back up into connections to the same pvc set-up except with smaller in-tank pvc.
one of the hoses (not sure which) also has a a shut off valve on it, im guessing thats the return hose as it would be pointless to have a second on on the drains.
So ya anyways, im using a different wet/dry then his sump .. mine is a 50 gal (using the sterelite type set-up) and mine is in the stand as opposed to on a different floor.
out of what he had .. i could still use the hose if i wanted/needed to. And the two bigger valves for teh drains are still good but everything else is glued together so would all have to be replaced in order to re-do the set-up. anyone who knows alot about this stuff could you help me out. a somewhat detailed method and supply list would be absolutely amazing
