My uncle blacked out at the wheel in a drive through yesterday morn and shoved a car into the street, then crossed the highway and took out some street signs then crashed into some bushes. This morning they find the cause is a good size tumor behind his left eye on his brain. Either UCLA or Stanford is going to do surgery next week. He is fine at home now,big giant burley oldschool surfer tough guy in his early 50s. Getting married in spring if all goes well. I think this is the first time I heard of him tear up since his moms death. Please keep our family in prayer or in thought with good wishes. They say he is high risk for stroke during or after surgery but they really want to do it so we will see. Anyone here who can give some comfort than cool,if not then just keep my family in thought. Thanks.

My ohana's thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.....

Best wishes to you and your family, like you said hes tough so just keep positive !

hope that he gets well...dunno if this will help but my mum had cancer in her leg, she had 8 operations and they thought she was going to die...but she managed to survive :)

there's always hope.

Jason the doctors can do the best they can with the operation but its all in God's hands, keeping him and your family in prayer. One of my wife's uncles was sent home from the hospital about a month ago with stomache cancer that they couldnt operate on because it was too spread out in his body, now he is just living out his last days with his family, we can see him getting weaker and weaker as time goes on but our faith remains. No matter how things turn out, keep positive and spend as much quality time as possible with him. Hope this gives you some comfort I know sometimes words are just not enough. God Bless.

my cousin had a tumor in the same area a few years ago. she survied and i think ur uncle will too!! GL man!

Best wishes.
