Hey guys I have tried melafix and and tetra general tonic on my Jardinis, nothing seems to be working. I have also been doing a weekly 30% water change for more than a month. This happened sometime in mid October when they were together. Can someone give me a solution or tell me if there isn't 1? so I can do a trade in and get 1 new Jardini and some other stuff because it is really ugly ( If it is going to take till the beginning of February to fix this then I really need to do the trade in).

The tank is way cleaner now by the way, sorry the last picture is not that clear, those guys are so damn skittish that's why.

Actually the 2nd guy is more skittish, the first picture is the only one of the other Jar.

Oh and people please do not worry about my Jars running out of space because I am definitely trading 1 of them in for equipment and I will get a bigger tank as soon as 1 jar hits 17" or maybe sooner. I am trading one in after the 26th by the way.

The solution is to keep doing waterchange, taking care of the water, and you might add a bit of salt in there too. Do not expect the fish ro recovers in just a few days, it takes time. Be patient.

If I remove the partition which will give each one more space will it increase the chance of recovery. Is this tail drop or something else? My water temperature is now at 28 degrees C, it was at 30-31 degrees when this happened.

Oh and which one do you think looks better and going to recover faster? because I am going to trade one for equipment anyway after the 26th. Will it take more than a month? I am actually not in a hurry to trade both.

What type of salt should I use, epsom salt or table salt? and how much should I add?

:chillpill::chillpill::chillpill::chillpill:calm down, their tails will grow back, give them time
dude you gotta be patient
those are pretty nasty war wounds
but nothing to worry about too much
give them one or two weeks and the tails would grow back by then
you can use table salt or you can get aquarium salt
and yes you will have to give one away
keep the one which is more mellow then maybe you can have a comm tank
