Need PVC help.

I'm about to order some black PVC and need help with a stupid question.
Do you get 1" fittings for 1" pipe, or 1" fittings for 3/4" pipe?

Sorry i cant help but if noone helps you out just put off the order till tomorrow and run to the hardware store and test it out.

Fittings/pipe are the same size, 1" fittings for 1" pipe.

What about putting it together.
Dose everyone use teflon tape or something else?

pvc glue.. work fast it takes about 5 seconds to bond.. and dont spill a drop because you will NEVER be able to clean it up..


you can use silicone but it does not last forever... teflon tape works on threaded fittings only

the best, i think, is the rain n shine cement. you can test your system and not worry the water will effect the bond
