Need serious ID asap very important

well guys i went against my best judgement and took an animal from a friend for free......he works at a store and "hooked" me up with whats supposed to be another caiman to go with the one i already have.....so i ended up with this totally different creature......the first pic is of my caiman crocodilius......the second is the mystery herp he said it was a black caiman but i think it looks more like a american alligator

isnt there some kind of permit involved here? depending on state, dont worry, i wont tell, but crocodilians are permit only here, and for a permit, you must have several qualifications

I think he has the quals and permits. He already has a caiman. Not sure if it's the same stuff he needs for the american though.
