So I have two fish that are about 8" (peacock bass) that I was going to ship out. Well, turns out a buddy is visiting from the same area I was going to ship the fish to. I'd feel much more comfortable knowing the package was with a friend than in the back of a UPS truck. also saves me a lot of money!

Anyways, here's the problem.
I'm meeting with him tonight and he's not heading back till tomorrow afternoon and I think it's an 6 hr drive. Would it be a bad idea to package the fish tonight?

I know it'd be better if I did it in the AM and dropped the fish off to him but he lives about 45minutes from me and I'm not sure if I can squeeze that into my work schedule.

Do you think the fish will last 24hrs in commute? I'm going to use extra water since I'm not being charged by weight, bag buddies, and some 60+ hr heat pads in a styro box. Each fish will be individually bagged.

What do you guys think? Any tips?
