Need some advice asap...

Got a shipment of some payara in. Already eating within a couple of hours BUT is the feeder too big?? The gills are red and flared out like their choking. I tried to get the smallest ones I could find at the store.

Should I pull?? Does it look like it's gonna choke? Anyone have advice on where to get some SMALL (very small) feeders?

I wouldn't worry if it was another type of fish, but payaras have very small stomaches, I'm trying to judge if it'll fit lol

i wouldn't pull may damage the fish but its definatly too big for the fish. idk what to suggest hope he pulls through

maybe you could cut the feeder in half

alright, i left it alone and looks like it'll be okay. the tail of the feeder is hanging out of the payaras mouth though. glad the feeders aren't any larger.. thank you to all
