ok i went to the hardware store and got a 18" 15watt flourecent fixture to replace the one i ruined a few months ago and have a ton of bulbs for it.
which of these scenarios would benefit my 10g tank with 40watts of 50/50 atcinic pc and a hob filter and a hob filter being used as a refugium, i have four bulbs, 1 50/50 10000k/ 420 actinic, 1 4200k " soft white" bulb that came with the fixture , a 420 actinic bulb , and a plant growing bulb for planted tanks. with of these scenarios would be best?

#1 use the 420 actinic light as a moonlight ( ive been useing my 36" fixture for this and it works fine)

#2use the 50/50 bulb to put over my hob and run it 24/7 to stabilize my Ph at night

#3put it over my refugium and grow some mangroves and make a algea turf scrubber.( would the plant bulb be best for this, or should i stick to the 50/50? will it still stabilize my Ph
if i leave it on 24/7?, )

#4put the 50/50 over my tank to try to milk out some more watts per gallon and get 5 watts per gallon? thnx for all the help guys

also, what do you guys feed your corals? i feed mine a pureed mysis shrimp/ store ught jumbo shrimp/and kent zooplex copepods with some REEF plus concentrated amino acid and vitaman additive for nutreints. my zoas and my colt coral go nuts!
how bout you guys

I am not sure exactly what you want to achieve better watts for the tank? What bulbs to use? or what is more benifical to the overall system and fuge?

for coral foods, I use rods coral blend, Phyto-feast, Live rotifers, cyclops', Reef Snow but the food you feed depends on what corals you want to feed. What again are you looking to feed?
