Seem to have aquired fin rot in my tank. I have 2 fx5's for filters on my 360 gallon tank. I think I have read that antibiotics will kill my bacteria in my filters.Would it be alright to add the antibiotics and shut down one of the filters and run the second until the antibiotics wear off then restart the one that was not running where the bacteria should still be fine?

depends which meds you use..
problem is if you shut your filter off the bacteria will die anyway.. you would have to keep it running on a different tank, or a big bucket of water atleast to keep the bacteria alive...
then when you restart.. swap some of the media to seed the one that you kill the bacteria in...
