need some advice on my senegal bichirs :]

Hi everyone.
I started with one little senegal poly. He is about 4-5". I've had him for about 3 or 4 months now and he hasn't hardly grown. About a month or 2 ago I picked up another senegal from the pet store. He is the same age as mine. In fact, he/she is the same senegal that was there when I bought my original bichir. except he is about 7-8" long. There are both feeding quite well. Rigth now, I'm giving them sinking carnivore/cichlid pellets, occasional bloodworms and they also take bites out of the mini algae wafers i throw in for the RTB shark. Is this diet ok? My little guy hasnt hardly grown. He is an absolute pig and is eatign great though. help?? hehe

i give mine chopped up worms and chopped shrimp as well.

maybe he doesnt eat alot??

sorry for hi jacking....but are bichir blind or what?! mine takes forever to find food!...maybe thats one reason they dont grow as fast??

some Sens just take forever to grow.. im having the same situation with one of my sens, he eats like a pig but hasnt put on any weight.

they rely in there smell to find food.. smaller ones eat less in a bigger tank because they can't find it
