need some advice on tank mates.

so i recently purchased 2 cortez rays one is 5" the other is 6" in diameter, they are currently housed with 2 coral cat sharks, a blue line grouper, lion fish, and a 2ft snowflake in a 350g long. would putting a smooth hound in the tank create problems?

Yes, the smoothound will be too big for what you've got going on.

also i'm not 100% but i think smoothhounds need colder water

I wouldn't say 'cold' water, but I wouldn't keep them warm either. Up to the mid 70s seems to be fine for them.

well I don't know much about this sort of thing but I think the smooth hound is just a tad too active for a tank that size.
