Know its been a wile since I've posted so yall prolly forgot about me. :P I can say all my fish are doing well And i picked up a "Dinosaur Bichir" not sure if thats the exact bread but i love the little guy hes only about 2-3 Inches currently I feed him frozen brine shrimp cubes.. and I'm planning to get some earth worms to cut up for him. Is there something else i should look into for his diet as well?

Well heres the big issue I want help with. I'm going to be moving back to TX from here in TN and I want to know every ones opinion on the best way to transport my guys down there. I don't think putting the tanks in my truck is a good idea.. its very bouncy very loud both exhaust and road noise. So What I was thinking was waiting till after the wedding (in April) when i bring her down with me and all the stuff.. Her car is much smoother riding and i was thinking maybe sticky wrap over most of the top of the tank and having a power inverter per tank so i can run filter and air pump (2 tanks) and just take it kinda slow making sure the tanks are secure in the car. Is there something better i can do? No way I'm leaving my baby's behind...

You can find more info on your new fish in the Polypterus section. What are it's tankmates? If you have smaller tropical fish, those are as good as gone.

The bichir is most likely a senengal.
For transporting the fish, I'd just use a cooler and a battery powered air pump. They'll be just fine.

Hes the smallest one in the tank right now. I'll be sure to check that section to see if it has anything different than what I found at another web site. the site said he can reach up to 12" Hes with my two Dojo Loaches which are (to my understanding) supposed to be that big as well.

Thank you for the cooler Idea. I'll be sure to do that when we are ready to move the guys.
