hi i am thinking of mabe getting a gecko. what kind is the cheapest and would be not very expensive that stay relitively small. and also wouldnt need very big space. and also how much would everything cost???? plz i need answers!!!!!

Just keep on your mind that hermit crabs are not that easy to take care of. I dont know anyone here that has been able to keep them alive in the long turn, not because they dint try really hard to acomplish that but because the animals dint reseive proper care in the store. Also when your don in the supplys it will be probably just as expensive as having a leopard gecko or something. They need heating ,ligthing ,water condicioner, etc. In my hubble opinion the easiest herp to take of are newts especialy fire bellied newts.jdiidy271;1992223; said:well since i dont have that much money i think i am going to go with.......... hermit crabs!!!!!! i know they are not reptiles or amphibians they are crustations but they are cool and pretty easy to take care of. but i am no hermit crab master so any advice on the crabs would be of great help!!!!

Fire bellied toads (maybe $150 for everything)
Crested geckos (50-100 per gecko, $450 for $100 gecko and all supplies)
Leopard geckos ($50 per gecko, roughly $300 for gecko+supplies)
Bearded dragons ($400-$500 total)
Anoles ($10-30 per anole, $130 for everything)
Oscillated skinks ($15 per skink, roughly $130 for everything)
Viper geckos (around $400-$600 for everything, you can keep them in a 10 gallon)
Mountain horn dragon ($100 per dragon, roughly $450 for everything)
Those are the cheapest herps I can think of. These prices are based on where I live so...hope I helped.
