Hello

I need some help. I have a parrot fish and a flowerhorn together they get along pretty good. I recently noticed my parrot fish laid eggs. I know that male flowerhorn tend to be sterile but since there is a chance of it not I'm wondering if there is a way to tell other then just waiting and seeing what happens. Here is a picture of the eggs currently its been about 3 days since the parrot fish laid the eggs & they both seem to be caring and guarding the eggs. can anybody look and give me any info if they look fertile or not?

Usually, translucent white to kinda brown eggs with brown or black central spots are fertilized. Milky white looking eggs are the unfertilized ones.

Your male FlowerHorn may not be sterile lol. Most of the eggs look good. Also they are tending to the eggs.

Keep an eye out for a black spot. It should be visible after a day or two. 5156282A-AE38-4D9A-A4B5-57B29FA6E239.png
