Need some advise (filter set up )

Just about to set up my new 8x2x2 tank just wondering should i run say 2 600l/p/h filters or say one 1000 l/p/h filter as tank roughly holds 900lts will be having american cichlids (terrors, Jacks< trimacs ect )

2 provides safety. I'd go with 2.

Agree go 2 filters ,always have one with good bio when cleaning the other,less problems down the road[water]
