In my tank I have had a acestrorhynchus falcirostris, and think it's a great fish. I thought that I should add another fish and added a Hepsetus odoe. The Odoe seems to bully him a little. I feed them feeders and keep them full. But even when the Odoe has a belly, he does a little chasing. I don't see any damage on the falcirostris yet and it has been about a week. Will they be fine? Or should I think about getting rid of one?
Thanks for any help.

add some more falcirostris, 2 or 3 more. I kept two 7.5'' odoe with five 6'' to 8'' falscirostris and never had a problem. they were in a 210 gal. what size r they? odoes will outgrow the fals and eat more as juvies.

They are both around 5". But the Odoe has been growing fast I noticed. There aren't any more falcirostris around me. I asked stores but they don't have them, they got Odoe instead and their next shipment will be primarily stingrays. Is there any substitutes that I can get? Needlefish, payara, or anything? I like both fish but if I have to for the others safety I will.

Some Payara might work about 2-3 Tats or Scombs if you wanna take that risk. If you can get your hands on any more Falcirostris I would snag them as fast as you can. Odoes also tend to grow pretty fast when small so watch that as well. Some thick decor might help too.

Thank you payaraman. I added some DW and plants in the tank and the aggression has gone down. I noticed he does seem to be growing fast. I will try to find any types of payara and especially any Falcirostris that I can find.
