Hi Guys,
I'm not from around these parts, I've never kept Angelfish, but I've seen some "Green Angels" (which I'm assuming are quite like the wild-type angels, they had much shorter fins than some of the ornate varieties I've looked at).
Now, I'd like to try and keep a couple of these Green Angels in a setup with my Red Eared Slider, but being not so familiar with Angelfish, I need some of you experts to chime in here...
- How quick are Angelfish when they need to be? The tank already has a few smaller barb-type fish in it, and for the most part the turtle leaves them alone, but I won't risk Angels in there if they're not quick on their fins.
- Are Angelfish jumpers? The tank doesn't have a lit because of the need for a basking area for the slider, so obviously if they're big on the high jump then I won't look any further into them
Best,
Paul
